Steal an Egg Mutations and Multipliers
Colour mutations multiply a pet's income. Rainbow is the best at ×3.5. Size (weight) is rolled separately and multiplies on top, often by much more.

What is the best mutation in Steal an Egg?
Rainbow at ×3.5 is the highest colour multiplier on the wiki, followed by Parasite (×3), Fractured and Scrambled (×2.75), and Golden and Spirit Bloom (×2.5).
What are the mutation chances?
The wiki lists hatch roll weights of 6 in 100 for Silver, 4 in 100 for Golden and 1 in 100 for Rainbow. Other mutations come from events, consumables or shops rather than normal hatching.
Is size or mutation more important?
Size usually wins. A pet at 10× base weight already earns about ×4.1, more than a normal-size Rainbow. At 100× it earns about ×17.1. Mutations multiply on top of size.
